COURSE DESCRIPTION

Education in project will provide knowledge about:

• general and detailed rules of budgeting with practical implementation
• practical ways of improvement of the quality of process and budget control
• practices and methods applied in effective project budgeting.

The project budgeting training integrates traditional methods of project budgeting including PMBOK with financial approach accepted by most reputed and biggest worldwide associations of expert auditors, for example ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), and also MS and MSSF recommended standards.

The training makes it easier to introduce solutions where budgeting is not only following the established budget but also the process of designing project budget, foreseeing risk and possible deviations, etc. The course allows to activate the process of project finance management stage budget control. It helps to determine acceptable borders of so-called project compromises.

The aim of the course is not only detailed explanation of terms related to budgeting rules and controls in projects but how to apply them in project budgeting. The training gives foundations to apply solutions with regard to:

• types and methods of budgeting projects
• processes of planning, budgeting and controlling the budget in projects managed traditional way including PMBOK
• techniques of progress measuring and analysing deviations
• optimizing and minimizing the costs of projects
• basic elements of ABC activities cost accounting and ABB activities cost accounting.
