COURSE DESCRIPTION

The P3O Foundation training let you know and understand P3O® approach at the foundation level. The training takes the form of a lecture and practical exercises. The training is finalized by certification exam. Successful candidates are given the international P3O® Foundation certificate.

The P3O model is a proposed structure to support decision systems for changes delivered in specific organizations. The functions may be provided by a single body appearing under various names such as Strategic Management Office, Centre of Excellence, Organizational Programme and Project Offices Model or combined set of various portfolio, programme and project offices. Each such a structure may deliver services at the central as well as at the local levels.

• The course summary

The exact date and time of the of the exam is chosen individually by a candidate from among those available on the Examination Institute’s platform

EXAMINATION

• Test exam consisting of 75 questions
• Duration: 60 minutes
• To obtain a positive exam result, a minimum of 35 correct answers are required
• This is closed book exam
• The participant who obtains the required number of points will receive an international certificate in electronic form
• The P3O® Foundation certificate is valid indefinitely
• It is possible to purchase a paper certificate (for an additional fee)

CERTIFICATION

In accordance with the requirements of the Certifying Institution – PeopleCert – for training, you must purchase an examination kit including:

• The exam voucher
• Online Proctoring examination
• Official „Portfolio, Programme and Project Office P3O” electronic manual in English
• E-Certificate

When registering for training, select the add-on: Examination Kit.

Each training participant will receive a voucher for the online exam. The voucher is valid for 12 months. After completing the course, the participant will receive guidelines for online exams conducted on the Examination Institute platform “Step-by-step guide on how to take an online exam”. The online exam is conducted in the presence of a proctor, i.e. a person from PeopleCert, who remotely connects to the student’s desktop and observes the exam via a webcam. Additionally, the proctor’s task is to verify the identity of the examinee, check the room for other people and teaching aids.

TAKE2 RE-SIT EXAM

When registering for training, you can purchase a retake of the Foundation exam. If you fail the exam, Take2 re-sit exam gives you the opportunity to retake it within 6 months from the first date. Take2 re-sit exam can be purchased only before the first exam date and is available online.

RECOMMENDED TRAING PATH

PRINCE2®, MSP®, M_o_R® and P3O® describe the environment in which the entire business change chain occurs, and with it the appropriate management standards. The P3O® glossary uses the same conceptual framework as the above-mentioned project, program and risk management methodologies.
