COURSE DESCRIPTION
During the two-day training, participants gain the knowledge necessary to run a Lean-Agile enterprise, using the Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®) and its basic principles resulting from the philosophy of Lean, systems thinking, agile development, product flow and DevOps.
Training participants gain knowledge on how to master Business Agility competencies to thrive in a competitive market. They also discuss how to achieve agility at the team and technology level and organize work around value creation. They learn and practice skills in supporting and executing PI planning events and coordinating multiple Agile Trains (ARTs). WORKSHOP
In addition to the Leading SAFe training, we offer an additional one-day workshop on the identification and definition of Value Streams in the organization and the creation of the so-called Agile Release Trains, i.e. groups of 5-12 agile teams that work in a coordinated way on one solution.
Value streams and Agile Release Trains are fundamental elements of implementing scalable agility in an organization. Their identification and definition are key and necessary steps immediately after the Leading SAFe training. Therefore, we suggest doing such a workshop immediately after the training in a 3-day package (2 days of training + 1 day of workshop).
Who is the workshop for:
- for participants of the Leading SAFe training
- for everyone participating in the agile transformation.
What you will learn and what you will achieve:
- You will become familiar with the SAFe implementation plan
- You will learn how to identify value streams and ART
- You will choose the first value stream and ART to get the first “short-term win”
- Understand the issues involved in designing ART to deliver a value stream
- You will start planning the launch of the first ART(s)
- You will learn how to successfully replicate the launch of more ARTs and value streams
